Between Shades of Gray

 A harrowing and horrifying account of the forcible relocation of countless Lithuanians in the wake of the Russian invasion of their country in 1939. In the case of 16-year-old Lina, her mother, and her younger brother, this means deportation to a forced-labor camp in Siberia, where conditions are all too painfully similar to those of Nazi concentration camps.

Academic Letter Program

Remember that the academic letter program will be on May 22 @ 6:00 PM in the commons.

Athletic Awards Program

Spring Sports (Baseball, softball, soccer, track & field) sports awards will be May 22 @ 7:00 PM in the auditorium.  Athlete of the year, scholar athlete of the year, and the Wade Forsythe award will also be presented.  All students are encouraged to attend!

Returning Library Books

All of your library books will be due on Wednesday!  Make sure you have all your reading finished and are ready to take your Reading Counts tests by the end of the day on Wednesday or even better, before Wednesday!  Your literature books are due back to the library when your language teacher gives you clearance to return them and no fines will be charged for them or on the classroom sets unless you fail to return them.  If you fail to return your textbooks, your account will be charged for the price of the book (about $100 each).  If books are not returned and fines paid, you will not receive your yearbook on Monday.

Math Club

We are going geo-caching next Friday the 18th.  Meet in Ms. Larsen's room at 1:30.  Bring good shoes, water, and a treasure to put in the cache.

Failing Grades List

Students who are on the failing grade list are ineligible to go to Lagoon, run for class officer, or any other activity or sport until your grade is made up.  Do not wait until the last minute.

Soccer Players

All soccer players need to return their clean uniforms by Friday.  Not returning your uniform will result in no letter and a charge of $80 to your student account.

Track Team

All track athletes who did not qulify for State need to turn in your uniform ASOP so you don't forget.  If coach Torgerson isn't here, please give them to Coach Peterson.
